What is Kaspa
Kaspa is a proof-of-work blockchain (the same consensus mechanism as Bitcoin) launched in 2021, using an innovative architecture called GHOSTDAG to process multiple blocks in parallel rather than one at a time, achieving much faster transaction confirmation times than Bitcoin.
In a sector dominated by proof-of-stake blockchains, Kaspa stands out for staying true to Bitcoin's proof-of-work model while improving its scalability, and is today one of the few mining-based networks to have maintained an active, growing community outside of Bitcoin itself.
