Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Investlytic collects, uses and protects information when you visit our site. Investlytic is an independent editorial portal providing information on ETFs, stocks, cryptocurrencies and brokers; we do not offer personalised financial advice or manage investment accounts on behalf of users.
Data controller
Investlytic is the data controller for information collected through this site. For any privacy-related request, you can contact us at privacy@investlytic.me.
What data we collect
The site uses Google Analytics 4 for aggregated visit statistics (page views, traffic sources, device type). These cookies are only activated after your explicit consent via the banner: if you choose "Necessary only", no data is sent to Google. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies. Other technical data is limited to what is necessary for the site to function (e.g. requests to our server to display up-to-date prices for ETFs, shares and cryptocurrencies).
Cookies
The site uses technical/necessary cookies required for basic functionality (for example to remember your choice on the cookie banner), and Google Analytics statistical cookies, which are subject to your consent. The legal basis for statistical cookies is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) UK GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser or reopening the cookie preferences. Google Analytics may involve transfers of data to third countries, governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by Google.
Affiliate links
Some pages on the site contain affiliate links to brokers, banks or other financial service providers. If you open an account through these links, Investlytic may receive a commission from the provider, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are only present for partners with whom we have a genuine commercial agreement, and are always labelled as such. This does not influence the objectivity of our analysis and reviews.
Third-party market data
Data on prices, ETFs, stocks and cryptocurrencies shown on the site comes from third-party providers specialising in financial data. This data is used exclusively to display site content and does not involve the collection of users' personal data.
Your rights
If we collect personal data in the future (for example via a contact form or newsletter), you will have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your data, under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. To exercise these rights, email privacy@investlytic.me.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The last updated date is shown at the top of the page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
